This morning Google makes the first steps in entering the TV advertising world, by signing a deal with EchoStar to auction ad spots on Discovery, CNN, MTV, and more. A big thing will be allowing advertisers to track a campaign’s performance in real time.
This is a huge step in how advertising is changing, and how interactivity, in both front-end and back-end, is the key. (Shameless plug on my book: Interactivity in Advertising)
