It’s official, absinthe is now legally available in the United States, and Bostonist and the Boston Globe have found some good places to sit back and have a drink. Although the drink has been available in its ‘wormwood free’ form (think alcohol-free beer) the true absinthe (which has been none to sneak into my liquor cabinet from Amsterdam) has been banned from being sold (not banned to posses) for almost a century.
