I used to be a huge fan of having everything on a bookshelf until I got to the point I started looking at the cases that come with a ladder, I decided that it was time to clear some stuff out.

Since then I sold everything except reference books and anything with sentimental value (still three cases). I bought a Kindle and I think its great for reading business books, newspapers and non-fiction. Everything is backed up and I can download a book from anywhere.

I think its a little lacking for magazines, text books and of course the Sunday Times crossword.

Early adaptation isn't without its bumps (think first and second gen iPods) but I'm sold on the digital library.

Luke, if you are feeling nostalgic you can always pick up dust magnets in bulk:

I'm partial the vintage set myself.

Digital scares me. Even your web site, wherever it is hosted, technically belongs to the host. Similar to how ISPs are responsible, legally, to the content their users transfer.
