Vaillancourt Folk Art | Sutton, MA (2007 — Present)
Director of Digital Marketing: Responsible for growing the company's web presence, E-Mail marketing capabilities and eCommerce system. Deals with new clients and builds relations with the existing 486 retailers, which include Roger's Garden (Corona del Mar, California), Peek In The Attic (Dallas, Texas), Colonial Williamsburg (Williamsburg, Virginia), Frontgate, Macy's, Bergdorf's, and Neiman Marcus. Additional responsibilities include the design and publishing of the company's catalog, developing strategy and design for direct mail collateral, and is part of the sales force traveling to various wholesale and retail shows around the nation.

Cross-Media Designer: Primarily works in web development planning, designing, and implementing dynamic web sites for clients. Ensures work, both web and print, maintains the integrity of the client's existing brand. Rochester Institute of Technology | Rochester, NY (2005 — 2006)
Layout Artist / Sloan Research Assistant: Assistant to the Department Chair of the School of Print Media in researching efficiency and interactivity within print media and advertising. Created print collateral for student recruitment, and managed the school’s website and dynamic media. Repurposed scholarly research by professors and industry leaders into Monographs for the Sloan Foundation’s Printing Industry Center at Rochester Institute of Technology.

Legacy Publishing Group | Clinton, MA (Summer 2004; co-op credit)
Graphic Designer/Digital Asset Coordinator: Digitized traditional artwork, designed that artwork around the specific output format (note pads, boxes, magnets, cutting boards, calendars, etc), and prepared the final files for proofing before going to press. Ensured that all international files adhered to the country’s standards before being sent for print/finishing. Communicated with personnel from various departments ensuring an efficient and consistent production workflow.

RDW Group, Inc | Providence, RI (Summer 2003; co-op credit)
Production Artist/Freelance Designer: Assisted account executives, production managers, and art directors in creating and revising work on printed ads, annual reports, and agency pitches. Used skills in Photoshop, QuarkXpress and other applications to ensure jobs were completed accurately and on schedule. Liaison among clients, customer service representatives, and creative department personnel.

Pre-press and Publishing Lab | Rochester, NY (2001 — 2005)
Lab Technician: Managed computers, printers, image setters, and high-end scanning equipment. Worked with customers and helped them solve problems and communicate various forms of technology. Problem solved mechanical problems and found creative solutions to problems encountered with procedures and communication. Trained new employees in technologies, methods, and company expectations.
